Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
Strong conflict management and problem-solving skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Competence in numerical skills and computer literacy
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Compile and cost institutional demand and procurement plans
Source suitable suppliers using the Central Supplier Database (CSD)
Print and compile quotations and all supporting documentation
Capture requisitions for the creation of Purchase Orders
Follow up on outstanding deliveries to ensure timely supply
Record all received and issued stock on VA10 and VA11 bin cards and Excel spreadsheets
Compile monthly theoretical stock movement reports
Calculate minimum and maximum stock levels for the new financial year
Ensure continuous availability of stock at all times
Barcode and allocate new assets
Manage the movement of assets between different areas
Capture Goods Received Vouchers (GRVs), clear web cycles, and liaise with suppliers
Update monthly acquisition spreadsheets
Participate in bi-annual stocktaking exercises
Execute any lawful instruction as delegated by the supervisor or authorised official
